Hello, I come here if you could add a new function (block elements) in (private window) I would like you to implement it in the next updates to be able to block ad garbage and, among other things, etc.
@Chocolate I think the challenge with that is any filter created would be more permanent. So in a sense it could go against the intent of Private since it would leave record of a site you visited just by having the custom filter rule made which would persist until manually deleted.
They technically could do like uBO and add something that only works in that session and then goes away, but I think it’s “too much work” for the amount of demand there is for it. Or something of the sort, otherwise would think it would exist.
Anyway, just wanted to make a mention of this. But am doing a +1 on the vote as think eventually they should expand on the capabilities.
Thanks for the vote, @saoiray. Yes, as mentioned, uBlock Origin can also be used in private browsing mode as an extension in Firefox or Edge. In short, uBlock uses the same filter as Brave Shields. It would be great if this could be implemented in future updates.
