As the subject suggests, in order to make it easier to move from Arc to Brave I would really like to see all the very handy keyboard shortcuts from Arc implemented in Brave. For instance (on MacOS):
Add keyboard shortcut shift+cmd+C to copy URL
Reopen recently closed tab with cmd+Z
I know there are more really handy shortcuts in Arc, but these are the ones I really miss when moving to Brave. Thanks!
Oh! I just found where I can customize the copy URL shortcut, nice!
brave://settings/system/shortcuts
Update: it doesn’t seem to work though since opening the developer inspection window is using that shortcut (shift+cmd+C) per default. I think this should be removed and used for copying URLs per default instead. Is there a way to remove the keyboard shortcut for the dev inspection window?
Update 2: Regarding being able to remove default shortcuts: https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/39206
You can remove it manually as you can see from the screenshot above.
I don’t see that icon there, not by any other shortcut either. I can only choose to go back to the default shortcuts if I have created my own.
Hovering over the shortcut doesn’t bring up the icon?
I went to the customise shortcut settings, searched for dev, hovered over the shortcut, clicked the minus button, and I was able to disable it. Is that not available on your Mac version of Brave? (I use the Windows version).
Please send a screenshot of what you see when you go to the shortcut page.
Exactly, nothing happens when I hover any of the default shortcuts. And there´s no hover event on that element when checking the CSS. If I add my own shortcut the hover event seems to work as intended.

### Description
Nowadays browser is the main interface for almost everything. I… t's not about 'browsing' anymore, but rather building workflows using extensions and global shortcuts. Keyboard is the dominant way of interacting, and not only for power users.
Recent versions (after 1.70.119 Chromium: 129.0.6668.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)) completely brake the system of removing/reassign Default Brave Keyboard Shortcuts which in turn broke all workflows.
It would be great to move it back.
_There is[ identical issue](https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/39206), but it was closed without comments/addressing the issue in any way. People were asking about reasons of closing, but alas no answer._
### Steps to reproduce
1. Try to delete any default shortcut using 1.70.119 Chromium: 129.0.6668.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)
2. Try to do the same with any later version
3. Feel how painful is to use Brave now, while it brake everything

### Description
Shortcuts for actions in Brave like Next Tab, for example, don'… t give the user the option to remove it. Only shortcuts _the user adds_ give the option to be removed.

I heard this is not the case for windows. On windows the user can remove any shortcut.
### Steps to reproduce
On Mac...
1. Navigate to shortcuts: Brave Settings > System > Shortcuts
2. Try and remove a shortcut that is provided by Brave — you will see there is no option to remove the shortcuts
3. Add a shortcut
4. Remove the shortcut that was added in step 3
### Actual result
Can only remove shortcuts that were added by the user. Can't remove shortcuts added by Brave.
### Expected result
Should be able to remove any shortcut whether it's added by Brave or the user.

P5 is low priority actually.
There might be something to be done here but as per one of my comments in the second issue above and our engineers comments:

TL,DR; macOS handles keyboard shortcuts differently than Linux/Windows with respect to keyboard shortcuts hard-coded by the system.
Sorry that I messed that up…
You’re right; P1 is high priority and P5 is low.
Have no idea how I mixed that up… but thanks for the clarification!
