i added brave search when opening brave but i want to add brave search when opening new tab too but seem like brave only gave option to just change startup page not new tab. is there any way to add it to new tab?
@Davidhench they are two different settings. As you said, the one you chose is On Startup. It’s not for your New Tab Page. If you look below where your screenshot ends, you’ll see it/
But you’re right that they don’t have it easily understandable, as you can’t just plug in any random address
The options here are:
- Dashboard
- Homepage
- Blank Page
What you would have to do is set Homepage for your New Tab Page.
Then you go to brave://settings/appearance and enable Show Home Button. Then you can type in https://search.brave.com/
Or you could just use the dashboard and the new refresh is coming soon. It would look like below. I have the Brave Search search bar, there’s any favorites I add, etc. And then uyp to you if you want any cards, Brave Stats, etc to be shown.
