Ad Blocking Not Working Properly on Brave Browser

Hello Brave Support Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m facing an issue with Brave’s ad blocking. Recently, ads have started appearing on YouTube, and sometimes new pages open automatically when I click on certain websites. This was not happening before.

I have already checked for software updates, and my Brave browser is fully up to date. For extra confirmation, I even downloaded and installed the latest version directly from Brave’s official website, but the problem still continues.

Could you please help me understand why the ad blocking is not working correctly and how I can fix this?

  • Disabling any related third party extensions (brave://extensions/)

  • Clearing cookies/browsing history (brave://settings/clearBrowserData)

• Updating adblock filters (brave://settings/shields/filters)
