I’m an app-tester-hobbiest… It’s pathetically tragic as I have hundreds of apps on my antiquated phone, which is on its last leg (?)
In regards to browsers there was a while that I stepped away from Brave to embark on a quest to seek out a browser with extension functionality. So I ventured knee deep into the Play Store swamp to find ‘the perfect browser’. It wasn’t going to be easy… I didn’t realize how many browsers actually existed, there must be thousands of them. My naive positivity leg me to assume that they must have made a browser that would suit my fancy. It was a lot of fun when the app description hinted towards extension support but never delivered, then Id have to download it and test the useless thing first. Did that about a hundred times… Came out with 2 and maybe a half browsers. Kiwi & Quetta were the ones I will actually honor in naming. I used them for quite some time. I was quite partial to Kiwi but they had stopped releasing any updates for quite some time. Quetta was cool because it allowed both Google & Microsoft extensions but had a lot of options & customization missing in its very condensed settings menu. Alas, I returned a bit butt hurt after all my effort, exposing myself to the infectious piece of sh*tware that I’m not surprised google invites onto their platform… Once I opened Brave after having left it for so long I rediscovered the built in ad-blocker, the quick speed, lack of spam, customizations & my dear BAT collection… and just like that a spell of calm was cast over me as the thought of extensions drifted on, out of my mind.
