After swapping USDC for ZEC (transparent) I have then proceeded to Shield the ZEC and sync my account. Which has successfully synced and shielded. Then I return to my wallet (a day or so later) and the ZEC is in my transparent account and my Shieled account is 0.00.
I’m not sure if there’s something wrong or I’m misunderstanding it completely or I’m not ‘Shielding’ it correctly.
Windows 11 v1.87.186 and Android 13 (both Nightly and stable browser on both devices).
In addition to the above, my wallet amounts (totals and individual accounts) across devices are different. The assets are in my portfolio, the accounts have been created, but most of the values are 0.00 on my Android device (only BAT, ETH and SOL are correct).
Thanks in advance for any tips and advice, learning all the time.
hey, as far as I understand its the same wallet on multiple Brave instances - I used the same seed phrase to initially login.
A bit of a search suggests that shielded ZEC is unavailable on Android. Im also I little confused as my zcash account is ‘Shielded’ but my assets (in Portfolio) appear to be transparent ZEC, not ZEC ‘Shielded’. Im definitely missing something here.
I’ll understand it eventually, but I do worry how this will put many people off.
Thanks for the Asset Filters advice, I also think some assets aren’t visible at all in Brave Wallet, otherwise they match up/make sense now.
