Description of the issue: After latest update on 10/30/25 Brave will not connect or display Youtube website all other websites are fine. Youtube is fine on chrome and edge.
How can this issue be reproduced?
yes every time trying to load youtube site
Expected result: blank screen with spinning circle

I’m not on YouTube a lot. But I want to keep an eye on this for future reference. Hope you get it fixed quick.
As of this morning youtube started working again with Brave after two days of not being able to load. I made no changes to any settings on my end to try to get it to work.
@Magilla all depends on a lot of things. Generally speaking it’s helpful to do some basic troubleshooting steps when you encounter problems. Just to give some reference for you to keep in mind if any browser problems in the future:
Does it work in a private window? (This checks if cookies or extensions are at fault)
Does disabling Shields fix it? (If so, then a filter or Shields setting is to blame, can further test by disabling/changing those)
If you create a new browser profile (hamburger menu/three line menu → More Tools → Add new profile). - this tests settings possibly changed and another way to rule out extensions since none should load there.
If a graphics issue, try toggling graphics acceleration in Settings → System
If issue persists in all of those, generally want to test on Brave Beta or Brave Nightly to see if it happens there. Then also Chrome to see if it’s a Chromium issue.
