Youtube showing ads even with shields up

Description of the issue:
Youtube is showing ads to me…quite a lot in fact. It happened today when i was coming home from work. I haven’t changed anything and when i checked youtube it had auto-playing ads. Like in the picture on the upper left corner and some others as i was scrolling down.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings?
Yes it does, tried experimental and other things, but nothing helped :confused:

Other details:

I have the following filters enabled with agressive tracker & ad blocking:

Operating System and Brave Version:

Windows 11 Pro

Brave: 1.19.175

Same here. This started happening just today, so YouTube might be attacking with some new methods. I hope the Brave developers can fix this quickly.

Also when you click Brave Shields icon and select any of “Block trackers & ads (Agressively)” or "(Standard) version, it disappears for the moment, but once you refresh the page, it comes back.

At least we are still able to block ads in videos.

Sadly i had to use an extension, so now i can’t see the previously mentioned auto ads, but i’m hoping a fix will roll out :crossed_fingers:
