How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Turn on “Block YouTube Shorts” setting underneath media settings

  2. Navigate to m.YouTube.com

  3. Still see shorts content

Expected result:

YouTube shorts content is blocked

i’ve updated everything and reinstalled everything but youtube is still showing me posts and shorts even though i’ve turned them off. this happened out of nowhere? it was fine all day today and then suddenly stopped working.

Review your shields settings. brave://settings/shields

Trackers & ads blocking - set to aggresive
Upgrade connections to HTTPS - set to strict
Block fingerprinting - strict, may break sites
Block cookies - block third party cookies

I also add the serviceworker.js into content filter: (my personal preference)

youtube.com/sw.js
