When watching YouTube videos in Brave on iPad, entering fullscreen switches to the iOS native video player instead of using YouTube’s own player. This causes the loss of YouTube-specific features like quality settings, subtitles, and video chapters. In Safari, fullscreen works as expected and keeps the YouTube player.
