This didn’t work for me.
I am actually new to Brave because I was told that they had a default adblocker which hasn’t worked at all throughout my entire (though short) experience on this site though I set it to aggressively block ads and in the filters and adblock shields I also set it to aggressive. I have Ublock origin downloaded and turned on, I went to the filters site you shared with me and updated and I am still getting ads on Youtube. What am I doing wrong?
Luckily, a simple refresh of the page bypasses the ads. (At the moment)
Youtube change the ads code in the last few days, affecting all browsers, extensions. The fix came in from uBO, and should be improved now. We’re getting much less reports.
- Don’t use other adblock extensions at the same time (to avoid possible issues with other lists)
- Enable shields

This is good news, but I just updated uBO to Version: 1.0.15967, already had shields enabled, I don’t have any other adblock extensions, cleared youtube cookies, restarted youtube, and I am still getting ads at the start of every youtube video I play. If I refresh the page the video starts without ads.
If I have misunderstood you or you have any further suggestions, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
Shields without uBO will work fine also. The changes came in from the lists in the last 12hrs which were to improve adblocking.

Update: I really don’t get that annoying “experiencing interruptions” message when I just put in the main url for YouTube. I can watch videos just fine. However, I do get it when I go into a channel I’m not subscribed to that has a channel trailer or when I put in the url for a YouTube video.
