The chat system is the exactly same in other YT channels, the only difference some will be paid-only chats implemented. Also if your account is flagged or shadow banned. It might not show up. Browser other youtube channels, that are new. See if it works there.
I understand being banned/timed out, I eliminated that as a possibility by successfully sending a message through the YT app. Lofi Girl, TimTheTatman and Ludwig’s stream I tested all of this in.
Is there any detail or information I can attain that could help you understand the issue for the future? Right now messages are going through, but I’m confident the issue will arise again in the future as it appeared across multiple days already.

Ok. I did try on a different account and there is no issue. It might be an account specific issue, but it’s strange how messages never fail to send on the YT app, only brave. Frustrating to pinpoint as on account 1, right now, the messages do not go through on brave. Only YT apps
possibly shadow banned? use the same account in another browser as a test
Is a shadow ban on web browser possible? As I just tested in safari with the same account and it did NOT go through on brave. Message goes through on app no problem

Then it can’t be shadow ban as I got a reply from a non-moderator through the YT app
To clarify, the message I sent on the YT app sent successfully and got a reply. Whereas the messages sent through brave/safari do NOT go through

Strangely enough it DID work earlier today on brave, about 20 messages went through no issue. After that, the messages began to stop sending.
Now that I tested it on safari, it does appear to be a strange account + browser only issue, not specifically a brave issue. I’ll contact google support to see if it’s something on their end
Maybe it may look like the app maybe working, but it doesn’t? Try posting in the app, then see spot the same message on the desktop
Yes that’s one of the ways I verify the message went through. I type it on the app, see it appear on the browser version. I even got a response from a non-moderator when I sent the message through the app
Additionally, the messages that get a response AND are visible in browser are also visible in live chat history. The messages that I notice do NOT go through on browser do NOT appear in my live chat history. ONLY the messages sent through the app
I’m thinking that it’s possible that accounts specifically have a limit on the amount of messages they can send through a browser? It’s a stretch but it doesn’t make sense that I have 0 issues sending messages on the app only. And a 2nd account I have no issue sending messages on app and browser
