# Youtube ad flood

**When using YouTube with the shields up, YouTube will flood the video with ads and restart the video if they get blocked. I have strict shields for ad-block on and the latest version of Brave, when I put shields down and then back up then the video plays correctly. I was gonna attatch the video of the tracker and ad blocker number going up steadily reaching 99+ in a few seconds but I can’t due to being a new user.**

Brave Shields stats - not unusual.
