**Description of the issue: When attempting to login to [x.com](http://x.com) I get the following error:**

**“We’ve temporarily limited your login. Please try again later.”**

**Does not require any steps as it happens as soon as you enter your username and try to proceed forward to adding your password.**

**Expected result: Should take you to the password prompt but it doesn’t.**

**Reproduces how often: Every time.**

**Operating System and Brave Version: Windows10 22H2 Brave 1.92.139**

**Additional Information: Only started happening recently. I assume [x.com](http://x.com) has changed something as I can still login via the Chrome browser. I have tried disabling Shields for [x.com](http://x.com) but I still get the error.**

I got a hint from Brave support to try to use a private window. For it works with it. I deleted the cookies, other browser date and updated the filter lists. But still it does not work. Only in the private window.
I wrote the to the support. Let’s see if they find out, what is going wrong.

Like you it works in a Private window. I hope support gets back to you with a solution or they fix it in the next update.

Went to the latest version of Brave. Still could not login but I started off by disabling all my extensions and then was able to login. One by one I restarted my extensions and I can still login to X. I figure I must have restet something in X that was been stopped by one of the extensions possibly AdGuard.
