Hi everyone! I know this is a kind of a noob question, but still… I’ve never used Leo before, and if I check clear “Leo AI. Chat history” “On exit” and ask him/it(?) something, will he/it remember me after I restart Brave? I mean, will my first (already deleted) question somehow influence the next answer?
Past questions from different conversations should not affect new conversations whether you’ve deleted the past conversation or not. Each conversation is independent.
no, Brave leo, unlike other AI models, when history is deleted, its permanatly deleted (from what I know)

But Anthropic has no way who uses their model through Brave. Unless of course you make your conversation identifiable by putting personal data in it.
I understand your question, I have been using Leo for over a year. It can produce incredibly eloquent discussions which I ofter want to continue, I have, in Leo’s settings, “Store my Conversation History” enabled. I can not find Enable User Memory in any menu. I am using macOS 15.6.1 / and Android 13 and have the same issue. I have plenty of cache and storage. I have avoided clearing my cache for Brave to see if it made a difference. It is very frustration when Leo adapts it’s chat format into a conversational mode and have extended conversation, only to have it “forget” the entire discussion and see that it’s chat history empty. It is extremely frustrating.
