Brave crashes immediately when I type e, t, i, p, a, j, v, n, or m as the first character in the address bar.

  • Brave does not crash if I type a crash-prone character as the second or subsequent character (e.g., “Brave”).

  • The crash occurs regardless of case, but not for the characters listed above.

  • Japanese romaji input: For example, when I type “t,” conversion suggestions appear, but the crash does not occur. However, it crashes the moment I press enter to confirm the input.

  • I have not yet tried other languages ​​or input methods.
