Webcam and mic not working, only in Brave

Description of the issue:
Error when enabling webcam and mic on Brave in my notebook. Brave asks for permission, but it doesn’t work. Webcam and mic work on Firefox and Chrome.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  2. https://pt.mictests.com/. NotReadableError: Could not start audio source; Object

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.88.136 (Versão oficial) 64 bits
Chromium: 146.0.7680.164

Can not reproduce on Windows 11 25H2 26200.8037, and Brave v1.88.136.

Even the mic works.

(Only thing I can say is ensure AutoPlay is not blocked, that’s about it.)

Web cam worked just fine, it even after getting permission for identifiers gave me a proper list of cameras on my machine.

Since it is attempting to ask for permission, after permission is given, what happens if you refresh the page? Or try a new Brave Profile temporarily? (It may be a setting or extension that could be causing it).

Webcam and mic started working again! Seems to be resolved in this version:
