# Vertical tabs are broken on latest update

**Description of the issue:**  
After the update to the latest version of Brave, vertical tabs do not show on the fullscreen on Mac. I’ve confirmed this with 2 Macs.

**How can this issue be reproduced?**

1. Have vertical tabs enabled; test it on the older versions; it works
2. Update Brave to latest
3. Go fullscreen

**Expected result:** Vertical tabs must be visible when enabled.

**Brave Version( check `About Brave`):** v1.58.127 (Sep 16, 2023)

I can confirm this bug is a thing. I’m on Mac as well and when I go fullscreen the vertical pane for tabs disappears.

Brave v1.58.127

I can confirm this. No choice but to go back to horizontal tabs.

Brave v1.58.127  
MacOs 13.5.2

MacOS: Sonoma 14.0

FYI, in the [GH issue tracker](https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/33020) there is an explanation of the issue and it looks like someone is already working on a fix.
