Your recent update to version v1.84.132, DESTROYED my configured Speed Dials extension! 40 configured speed dials GONE! Thanks Brave Team for adding 2 hours of grunt work to my day by having to reconfigure everything again -_-!

Rollback Brave form v1.84.132 to it’s previous version

Install ‘Nice Speed Dials’ Extension

Configure a couple of Speed Dials
-
Run the upgrade to v1.84.132
Expected result: Configured speed dials should vanish.

Part of the new top-sites widget redesign. Sorry you lost your speed dials, not entirely sure why that happened but you may have had “frequently visited” selected rather than “top-sites” which may have still had the correct tiles.

You can revert to the old design if you’d like by going to brave://flags, searching for the New Tab Page Refresh flag and setting it to Disabled.
Well, some silver lining, all of the linked URL’s were saved in Brave Bookmarks, however, I’ll still need to re-create all of the ‘Nice Speed Dials’ tiles again….
You gave me a reason to dump this browser. I don’t need Brave to tell me what I need on my speed dial. My bookmark bar has many of the exact same links. I don’t need my porn links so EVERYONE can see where I go. I prefer to type the name of my PORN sites, not advertise it.

This is what YOUTUBE and Microsoft does. My MESSENGER. link is gone replaced by FACEBOOK and I can’t figure out how to make it again. I copied from an earlier version. If I use the MESSENGER APP, it uses MICROSOFT EDGE!!! This kind of defeats Braves reason to exist. QUIT SCREWING UP A GREAT PRODUCT. I don’t need YOU deciding for ME what I want on my desktop speed dial. You ERASED very hard, if not IMPOSSIBLE to find links. Sure I can wipe it all out. lose another 60 passwords and start all over but Brave was suppose eliminate the BS instead creating it.
THIS IS GOOD. A user complains and you gaslight us? You are blaming us for your update? Show a little class and realize we like Brave and you guys made a mistake. Please fix it.
My speed Dial went away. It said that is now Top Site. Isn’t MY bookmark bar supposed be MY preferred top choices. Brave put up sites that I clicked on 1 time on YouTube which really screwed up.
