Update error in "Brave Ads Resources" component

Recently Brave app had stopped blocking ads on my Android phone. Trying to fix it, I went to “brave://components/” and checked each line. Turns out, ‘Brave Ads Resources’ is stuck on “Status: update error ver. 0.0.0.0”. So I searched this issue and turns out the only solution offered in this case is running Brave as administrator. Problem is, that option is only available for PC users. Since I am using my smartphone (Android) I am left stuck without a solution. I tried reinstalling the app and clearing browsing data, the issue persists. So please help me find a way to fix this matter on my android smartphone.:folded_hands:

You are OK (as in, don’t worry). The “Brave Ads Resources” component might not update for certain regions around the globe. It also might not update when there is an intermittent / “sketchy” network issue.

But the matter of “blocking ads” is usually a “Web Compatibility” issue. When you can, please report at least 1 website where Brave Browser is not blocking ads.

If one of the websites is YouTube - no surprises there. See the reports:
