I love all the work you have been putting into keeping memory usage down on open tabs… especially as an abuser of keeping too many open far too often.
when right clicking on an open tab there is a reload function. could we also have an unload? I keep so many open to have them ready, but really dnt need them loaded.
another option would be to easily throw a bunch of tabs into a group to pull out as a seperate window later. used to have a mod that did that but it hasn’t worked in prob 10y lol. (old browser)
Would also propose the tab unload feature. Sometimes opened tab, which consumes too much memory. Then open new tab and now would like to unload that previous tab in background from memory to free memory but not close as it might be needed in future.
Also would propose additional feature: unload all background tabs
This would be extremely useful when lots of tabs are opened and would like to quickly free memory from all tabs. Then we can just open new tab and unload all other tabs, not just one tab. That choice could be also under right-click menu on tab as one tab unload choice.
That bunch of tabs into group would be also nice feature. Would propose under tab search pull-down menu an option under Arrange sub-tab an option to select opened tabs and then provide a button to bind selected tabs into group. That same sub-tab Arrange (focus), where currently is an option to allow Leo automatically group tabs.
Brave search just led me to the brave://discards/ page where one can click ‘Urgent discard’ in the Actions column to unload a tab from memory - not as direct as in the right-click menu for a tab but does work.
