How can this issue be reproduced?
- By continuing to use the Brave web browser, given time the issue will reoccur on its own.
Expected result: Clicking on a page element or closing a tab will cause the browser window to abruptly shift to a new location, usually a downward and to the left shift. It doesn’t change size.
Brave Version( check About Brave):Brave 1.91.168 (Official Build) (x86_64)

I’m using Brave on an older Macbook Air, hence my use of MacOS X 12.7.6 (Monterey). I’ve been using Brave for several years and only lately has the window anomaly surfaced. I used to use MacOS El Capitan and can’t recall ever having a Brave issue. Gemini AI suggested resizing the window, repositioning the window, repeatedly closing the window and reopening it, set a new window position and size and quit Brave. These suggestions appear to work for a short period of time but eventually they reappear.
This behavior doesn’t appear in Firefox. I converted to Brave years ago because of the built-in Brave Shields and that is the single most factor that impacts my decision to continue using Brave but patience is wearing thin. I’m at a loss for how I could use Brave for years and only lately have this peculiarity surface. I wish I could find a permanent solution.
