Unable to install brave browser on Mac OS Sierra 'image corrupt'

Hi,
I am unable to install Brave Browser on my iMac. The OS is High Sierra version 10.13.6. The error message reads "The following disk images couldn’t be opened’ Then below it reads Image - Brave-Browser.dmg Reason- corrupt image.

May I ask which browser or download manager you’re using? – Maybe try a different one if you can?

Actually I think this might be your answer, you are outdated (see more below)…
Time to get a new Mac if you wanna use the latest version of Brave.
& some food for thought below as well from the Intego Mac Security Blog, out dated technology is a security risk no matter what you’re doing.

You must use MacOS 12 Monterey or later, for latest Brave Browser versions.

Correct — the last supported Brave release compatible with macOS High Sierra 10.13x is Brave version 1.57.64 as per:
