Unable to delete Brave files

I am trying to delete the Brave files. I am not using the uninstaller because it is hanging, as I have decribed in another post.

When deleting the files, it says three files are in use, even though I rebooted and did not open Brave- goopdate.dll, goopdateres_en.dll, and psmachine.dll.

Why are these open at startup?

1. Go to program(x86)
2. Delete Brave directory

Open your Windows task manager and ensure that all Brave processes are closed – including any Helper or Updater processes. Then try uninstalling as normal or deleting the desired files.
