Unable to add extension

Description of the issue:

Unable to install the Shortkeys extension.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/shortkeys-custom-keyboard/logpjaacgmcbpdkdchjiaagddngobkck?hl=en

  2. Click “Add to Brave”.

  3. Click “Add extension” in pop-up.

  4. The “Add to Brave” button displays “Installing…”, an attempt is made to download a file “logpjaacgmc…crx” which fails with message “Failed - Needs author…”

Expected result:

The extension is installed.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.2.42 Chromium: 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Works fine on Chrome Version 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit). System is Ubuntu 19.10 kernel 5.3.0-26-generic.
