Description of the issue:
UI Issues throughout Brave
How can this issue be reproduced?
Issue #1: Compact Tab Bar in Fullscreen Mode
Enable Compact Tab Bar Mode on Brave for macOS.
Enter Fullscreen Mode.
Issue #2: Brave Shields Overlay Glitch
Unfortunately, there is no directly observable trigger for this UI bug. I also recently noticed that the same issue is occurring in the beta and nightly release channels as well.
Expected result:
Refined UI Elements
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.93.129
MacOS Version: 26.6 (25G72)
Additional Information:
This bug report includes two separate UI bugs, titled as above.

I found another UI bug…
When Brave is opened and a profile is selected, there is a tiny possibility that the Brave profile icon will glitch out.
Reproduce Steps:
Open Brave
Select Brave Profile
Sometimes (more rarely though) the icon of the profile in the search bar is missing.

@Newweb
Some missing icons - happens with a brief network issue, usually a connection with one of the servers for said icon(s).
Meanwhile, please edit your Original Post above, in order to include your MacOS version.

Thank you for the notice. I have just added my macOS version.
Could you also clarify what you mean by “brief network issue”? I have not experienced any network connection problems recently.
The Shields panel issue is known and I believe has a fix already submitted so that should be taken care of soon.
The other issue I do see. Looks like it only happens in full screen mode. I’ll be filing an issue and informing the devs shortly. Thank you for reporting.
Actually these issues are already known – the black strip you’re seeing in compact mode should be fixed shortly:

### Description
Found while testing https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issu… es/56914
There are issues when using full screen view (with and without "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" enabled) in conjunction with Compact mode for tabs, however the issue observed can vary depending on the state the browser is in when it is launched.
### Steps to reproduce
#### Scenario 1: "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" On / Compact Mode Off
Description: "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" = On and Compact Mode = Off when browser is launched
1. Clean profile/install of 1.93.131 (can close/relaunch to pull griffin but I don't think it matters)
2. Check macOS application menu (top bar) and make sure View > "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" is checked
3. Enable compact mode
4. Go full screen
5. See toolbar is shown as expected
6. Change View > "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" to be unchecked
--> toolbar is still shown and it should not be

2. Check macOS application menu (top bar) and uncheck View > "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" and relaunch the browser
3. Enable compact mode
4. Go full screen
5. Tabs are displayed, but URL bar/Toolbar is not
6. Change View > "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen" to be checked
--> Same as step 5, tabs are displayed but URL bar/toolbar is not
