# Twitter login failed

**Description of the issue:**  
I cannot login into Twitter. I always get an error message with the URL [https://twitter.com/logout/error](https://twitter.com/logout/error). It says that an error occurred but that it was not my fault. I should try again. I did, but same error.

I had no problem with Google Chrome.

**Exact URL of the website in question:**

**Did the issue present with [default Shields settings](https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023646212-How-do-I-configure-global-and-site-specific-Shields-settings-)? (yes/no)**

YES

**Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?**

I disabled cookies and fingerprintig, but could not disable tracking and blocking of ads. (Brave always restarted with not with a disabled but default/standard setting.

**Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):**

NO (I have disabled on the twitter page all shields but the error remains.)

**Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?**

YES

**Brave version (check `About Brave`):**

Version 1.11.97 Chromium: 84.0.4147.89 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

Just clearing cookies/cache on twitter, then re-login. Should fix it, I know when the recent Twitter hack occurred I hard to logout/login again.
