Translation not working on Brave Mobile - version 1.80.126

Hello,

I’m using Brave on Android, and until recently, the automatic page translation was working perfectly. However, starting today, it stopped functioning completely.

Now, every time I try to translate a page, it just shows the message: “Couldn’t translate this page”, and nothing happens.

I’ve already tried the following:

  • Reinstalled the app

  • Cleared cache

  • Checked and re-enabled all translation settings

  • Tried different websites and languages

I’m using Brave version 1.80.126 on Android.

I’d like to know if this is a known issue with this version, and if there’s any workaround or fix coming soon.
