The translation function may not be connecting to the network through the proxy

I am using the ‘Proxy SwitchyOmega’ extension to set up a proxy for internet access. Functions like Brave Sync and Leo AI are working correctly. However, the translation function fails with an error after a prolonged loading/spinning icon.

I set the Manual proxy in the Windows system, and the translation function is now working. My guess was correct. Can this be fixed?:smiley:

Wild guess, but what happens if you go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Security > and then here:

Turn off secure DNS and for DNS provider, select OS default.

I wonder if perhaps this setting interferes?
