any news for fix? happen after update recently
The issue remains unresolved.
The problem is not solved yet, and i have not gone through any updates as well.
Same issue with all tabs crashing when opening a Tor tab. I’m using a Mac, so I’m not sure if my solution will work for you. I open a new normal tab. Then right-click Open Link in Private Window from the shortcut icon you often use on your desktop (we won’t use it). Then right-click Open Link in Private Window with the Tor shortcut icon not crashing, it works. Page will load. If I do it without a private window, it will crash every time. Restore… repeat. Start over 
I believe the fix for this went out today:
Please update to v1.80.120 and test again.
Fix works well. So happy to be able to use Brave again!
