# Tabs not reopening after shutdown and start-up of a PC

This is the 2nd time it has happened, the tabs i left open were gone and i had to reopen them one by one. Not sure why this bug happens, but it has never happened to me when i was using chrome. I saw some previous topic of this issues and i would like to know if there are any updates since the topic are locked…

I have this issue also. Once in a while when I open Brave it will immediately crash and exit with no prompts, just a quick flash of the outline of the program for a millisecond. The subsequent launch of Brave clears all my tabs and leaves me with a fresh new browsing session, like it has no idea where I left off. We need action on this bug.

Occasionally Chrome has done this to me as well. I recommend installing Session Buddy ([https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/session-buddy/edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko?hl=en](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/session-buddy/edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko?hl=en)) to protect yourself in case of tab loss.
