Tab Search icon new forced position ruining it for me

Hi, I don’t know how inevitable that change was due to upstream but it makes things really painful for me.

So, the Tab Search icon is now forced on the left-side of the toolbar (among the navigation buttons) when using vertical tabs.
Vertical tabs are a great feature I’ve been using for quite some time now and since I’m right-handed I have them on the right-side of my screen.
Tab Search too is very cool and lets me find and get back to other recent tabs very quickly without the hassle of searching for them in the vertical strip.

But yeah, it’s now on the left, opposite side of where the tabs are, and that’s no light inconvenience. Now I have to jump from one side of my screen to the other just to navigate my tabs, and that’s a no-no. Muscle memory is a problem too.

So I don’t know how feasible or not it’d be, but granting users the choice of the side for the Tab Search icon position, or tie it to the vertical tabs strip’s side, or tie it to the vertical strip itself, would be fantastic. Or maybe something similar to what exists (on the right-side) when using horizontal tabs.

Other than that I’ve liked Brave a lot, but this could be a dead end for me as a Brave user.

I’m on Brave x86_64 Official Build 1.93.129 / Chromium: 151.0.7922.71 and on Bazzite KDE Plasma 6.7.3
Thanks !
