In the Brave browser on the desktop version, when I have a window with multiple tabs and I close a tab, the browser shows me the tab on the right next.
But on the iPad, in Brave, when I close a tab, the browser shows me the tab on the left next.

The behaviour should be consistent, in both desktop and mobile versions. And, since different people prefer different behaviours, there should be an option to choose what tab would be shown next (the one on the right or the one on the left), when a tab is closed.
