I wrote previously about being unable to sync between iPhone 6S and a macbook Air.
I’m still trying to do so. No one has replied to the last thread.
iPhone: Version 1.42 (22.8.15.22)
macbook: Version 1.42.97 Chromium: 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build) (x86_64)
iPhone instructs to tap “I have a Sync Code”.
macbook reads “On your mobile device, navigate to Brave Sync in the Settings panel and click the button “Scan Sync Code”. Use your camera to scan the QR Code below. Treat this code like a password. If someone gets ahold of it, they can read and modify your synced data.”
@apachewolf Not sure how long you waited, but I just left my Sync chain by doing as I told you with my iPhone. Originally I was seeing the same thing as you. Admittedly, I took a few extra steps when I did and not sure if any of the particular made the difference or if it just was time. I’ll explain what I did, then up to you if you want to follow in my footsteps to see if it makes an impact OR if it’s just a matter of time for it to show the proper page under Sync)
So starting from when I firs…
After I removed all traces of prior syncs, I was able to copy and paste the code. The camera was never offered from my phone to scan the QR code on my macbook, but I did get it to work. Thank you.
