Suggestion for extensions

Hey,

I would really like to see a new feature for the extension button in the top right corner of the browser, the new feature should make it so I could quickly turn off/on certain extensions without having to access the separate extensions tab and turning it off from there. This might be a minor issue but I currently have to do this multiple times a day, because one of my most used extensions has access to read data from every website I visit, including banking websites, which I don’t trust it with. I believe that Brave should take this seriously because it’s somewhat of a privacy based browser.

It’s getting on my nerves having to open a separate tab just to control which extensions I have on at the time. I have used a few different browsers other than Brave and have not seen this done on any of them before, which is why I’m asking for it to be done on here. This feature would greatly improve the quality of life aspect of Brave for me along with hopefully many others.

Thank you very much in advance.

Strange, as this is from Chromium itself, what Brave is forked from, including Edge, and Chrome.

Brave:

Chromium:

..and Edge:

Firefox even doesn’t, right-click offers no ability to turn off extensions, and clicking the puzzle opens a page:

If you have found a browser that does what you’re asking, I genuinely would like to know.

With that said, it is something I’d like to see myself, though I’m not sure how easy it would be to implement. But I don’t know of any browser that does what you’re describing:

You read it wrong.
He meant he has NOT seen this feature on any other browser.

So he asks for this feature on Brave, being it a privacy browser etc.

And out of curiosity… I noticed you are using vertical tabs in Firefox and Edge, why not in Brave?

My bad.

Because I don’t use Firefox or Edge, or even Chromium, they are there for testing purposes and left in the state they were last tested in.

Got it. Makes sense.
