STATUS_BREAKPOINT All over the place

Description of the issue: Since today I’m seeing Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT about 1/3 of the time I go to any webpage/

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Open a webpage
  2. 30% chance of seeing Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT
  3. Keep refreshing the page. I just tried the following page 20x, and got this error at least half a dozen times.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

This screenshot is with the following launch parameters (kept adding more to try to find the culprit):

brave.exe --disable-gpu
  --user-data-dir=%TEMP%\brave-test
  --disable-quic
  --disable-features=NetworkService

So there are no extensions, no possible profile corruption, none of that stuff that normally causes issues.

Expected result: Page should open

Reproduces how often: 1/3 of the time.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Win 11 Home
Brave 1.89.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 147.0.7727.56

Notes: Does not happen in Firefox. No other known system changes. Just started today. Windows updates are disabled.

Can you try clearing your cookies/cache in full and let me know if you’re still seeing this issue?

Very honest question for a good reason: Are you overclocking your computer in any way?

It’s ok to overclock, it’s just if you are, it might be pushed a smidge too far.

(I last saw a STATUS_BREAKPOINT when my infinity fabric was set too high, 2 years ago).

Check the parameters I listed. I was running brave with a profile in temp. There is nothing to clear, it’s as if it were a fresh install.

Good question. Nope, all stock and defaults. Would have checked that after googling that error.
