Brave split view is completely useless and terrible and is a point of frustration and should be removed entirely until it works properly
Description of the issue: Split view refuses to let you add 2 already open tabs together into one split view. Instead i must reproduce the chain of addresses to land on the exact same page again. Why can you not just right click or DRAG an already open tab into a newly created split view makes absoltely no sense. This is especially frustrating when the webpage i need to add refuses to open in the same tab and instead forces itself to open in a new tab regardless of browser settings
**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1: open a split view with a tab already open, this creates a new split view with your selected tab and one empty tab or whatever your homepage is set to. 2. attempt to right click or drag a pre existing tab into the split view 3. fail every time. **
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): result is you never get your pre exisitng tab to open into the newly created split view.
Expected result: you should be able to right click or drag a pre existing tab into split view.
Reproduces how often: EVERY SINGLE TIME WITHOUT FAIL
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Linux Ubuntu 25.04 brave is on the latest edge version available on the snap repository
Additional Information: please fix or, remove split view. its a hardly used feature and is un necessary with operating system level snap windows anyways which is even baked into every linux distro except Arch that has been use by me.
