"Something went wrong" after successful signature — self-custody Solana connection fails

Hi, I’m trying to connect my Brave Wallet (Solana) to Brave Rewards using the self-custody option. The ownership signature succeeds (proof transaction confirmed on-chain, Sep 10), but finalization always fails with “Something went wrong — we weren’t able to finalize the connection”. Retried on Sep 11, same error.

  • OS: Windows — Brave version: Brave 1.94.121
  • Country: Italy
  • Rewards Payment ID: 5610ce19-7db6-5f62-bec6-46cb806e003d
  • Ownership proof tx (success): 5Bu4Kdk7ZqEY6qkgkoENv5fqLkkMVNeXQ59EkfjnKaXMLWgAfDyF7qAXB12Mn3FvNB35yU2xhPH5FPt5uvBssmsP
  • SOL balance on the address is sufficient (~0.11 SOL)

Possibly related to the other “signature succeeds, connection never finalizes” reports from Sep 10. Thanks!
