Solana connection limit when switching device or OS

I’ve seen many people talk about having issues with Solana and the support staff saying that Solana Rewards has a 4-device connection limit. If you to go the Rewards menu and choose to reset Rewards before you reset your device, switch OS, or otherwise delete your Brave data, will that free up a device slot?

It uses up a slot, not free it up. There’s no way to free up a lot. You get 4 per Solana address. Anything more than that, you need to create a new Solana address.

Each profile, including resetting the Rewards profile, counts as a separate device. So even if it’s the same computer or phone connecting, it will be seen as being different and use up a slot.
