Description of the issue:
I have got site searches set up. The site searches work as intended in the normal window but in private windows it no longer comes up. I’ve had the site searches setup for nearly a year and has been working fine but the issue started a couple of days ago
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Go to brave://settings/searchEngines
- Under site search click on add
- site name Youtube
- shortcut y
- URL with %s in place of query : https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%s&page={startPage?}&utm_source=opensearch”
- Click save
- open new tab and type y then click space or tab
- normal window it should say Search Youtube and whatever written will be searched
- go to private window and repeat step 7 and 8
