I am seeing constant ads while browsing with Brave, despite having Shields enabled. These ads appear on multiple websites and look like regular pop-up or banner ads, not Brave-sponsored ads. I have not changed any default settings related to Shields or ad blocking. This started happening recently and persists across different sessions and tabs.

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
Yes, but the ads are still there — turning Shields off makes no difference in ad visibility.
Does the ad appear when using a Private window as well? (yes/no)
