I am facing an issue from a long time in the Brave browser on Android where search suggestions (such as previously searched terms) reappear automatically even after I delete them from the address/search bar history. I clear individual entries, but they return again after some time or when I reopen the browser. This behavior does not happen in other browsers like Chrome. It seems that Brave is syncing or restoring search suggestions from history, autocomplete, or another background source without properly respecting deletion. This makes it difficult to permanently remove unwanted search suggestions and affects user privacy and browsing experience.
Not seeing this on my end – everything seems to be working as intended. Out of curiosity do you have Sync enabled?
Also you say that the results reappear again “after some time or when you reopen the browser” – can you produce this consistently by closing/reopening the browser? Can you delete a search suggestion right now, close the app, then relaunch and the suggestion will appear again right away?

Not immediately but yes search terms comeback after 10-15 mins. I have deleted some searched terms let’s see if they comeback or not. I will update soon…
