Search API - Subscription not activating after successful payments (Free + $5 plan)

Description of the issue: I subscribed to the Brave Search API but my subscription is not showing as active in the dashboard, preventing me from generating API keys.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Logged into https://api-dashboard.search.brave.com

  2. Yesterday: Subscribed to the Free plan - payment processed via Stripe successfully

  3. Dashboard still showed “No subscriptions found”

  4. Today: Subscribed to the $5/month plan - received confirmation message that subscription was activated

  5. Dashboard continues to show “No subscriptions found”

  6. Cannot generate any API keys

Expected result: After successful payment, subscription should appear as active and I should be able to generate API keys.

Actual result: Dashboard shows “No subscriptions found” despite two successful payment confirmations. The “Available plans” page no longer shows the Free option (suggesting the system registered something), but no subscription is active.

Additional information:

  • Browser: Microsoft Edge

  • OS: Windows

  • Screenshot attached showing the dashboard with “No subscriptions found”

  • This has been blocking me for over 48 hours
