Reporting issues on Brave is much harder than it needs to be

Similarly to this post, I find the process of dealing with issues in Brave to be a thousand times more convoluted than it needs to be. In just about any app I’ve ever used, you can report things directly in the app very easily. On Brave, you have to make an account and attempt to figure out this convoluted process. The first comment says it’s “not that complicated”, and then humorously lists out a bunch of steps in a convoluted process, seemingly proving OP’s point. I have come across so many bugs and issues in Brave that I have just learned to accept because this process is so much harder than it has to be. I clearly am not the only person that feels this way. I wish there was a simple “bug report” tool in Brave where I didn’t have to jump through all these hoops.

Those apps who have you report within the app, generally do not have good support if any. Many other apps rely entirely on GitHub, which Brave does as well.

Is a community page honestly that hard?

Things are only hard if you wish them to be. Brave’s report templates are honestly some of the best I’ve seen, and I’ve come from some very big companies (you use one of their products, the iPhone).

Problem with that is always the same, never enough information, and no one knows what’s actually wrong. There’s reasons it’s the way it is, because we could go back to the 1980’s-2000’s where you telephoned the company, got put on hold and hoped you were helped, and not simply shooed away.

Here there’s a community not restricted to Brave’s own developers, but other users as well who have such experience. Some of us are even smarter than their own devs and still chose to stay and better the product vs complain.

These complaints never get anywhere, especially when you are linking to a 7 year old thread. Clearly it’s not going to change and for good reason tbh.

Also, speaking of reviving dead threads, seems to be a habit of yours, including 1 year ago when you were last seen, which was a 6 year old thread. That needs to stop, it does nothing but cause clutter. You may think it helps, but it makes things worse.
