Hello - What sites aren’t working for you? What behavior and/or error do you see when visiting these sites?

It is the wyndham rewards will not let me sign in the drop down menus do not happen. I go to the drop down and it doesn’t show anything I click it andand nothing happens. Facebook only loads when I open it and when I scroll there is nothing so I have to keep refreshing the page to get it to work. Those things work in safari so I know it is something with brave.

If you toggle your Shields off for that site do you see an improved experience?

no I have done that then uninstalled and reinstalled but it still has all my bookmarks on it when I reinstall. I have cleared cache and all history. Nothing is working and I can’t get rid of all my stuff to start over from the beginning

@RobinLovesYeshua first, if you want to keep your bookmarks and/or passwords and import them into your new Brave installation, you can export both bookmarks and passwords as files on your machine. To do this:

  • For Passwords: In Brave, go to brave://password-manager/settings and click Download file in the Export passwords section. You can use this same page to import your passwords back into the browser.
  • For bookmarks: In Brave, go to brave://bookmarks/, click the “more options” icon (three dots) on the top right, then Export bookmarks. You can use this same menu to import them back into the browser.

Once you’ve exported your data (if you elected to do so), you can fully clear Brave on macOS by doing the following:

  1. Close Brave and open Finder --> Applications on macOS
  2. Trash the Brave.app file
  3. Then, on macOS, go to ~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/ and trash the BraveSoftware folder – this will delete any/all user data associated with the browser.

Now you can download the installer again from our website and install a fresh version of the browser. Try visiting the sites that aren’t working for you again and see if they work as expected. If not, let us know here and we can troubleshoot further.

Ok did all that. Still having an issue with that site. It may be they have an issue with brave. I really like brave. I hope this can get fixed. Oh well I got it installed again so thank you.
