Love this browser! I use Brave on both Android and my laptop, and honestly it’s great — but it’s not really that fast. Sometimes pages just straight up don’t load even with the Brave Shield turned off. And it eats a LOT of RAM, like seriously way too much. I use Brave because I genuinely love it but the RAM usage is a real problem. Could you please make it faster, more efficient, and not use so much RAM? That would be awesome!
Can you please share some example sites that you know to have slow load times?
Now.gg all proton websites as lump AI some YouTube videos don’t even load with adblocker and some other websites don’t even load for some reason but I don’t remember what
All the sites you’ve shared here seem to be running without issue for me. I suspect this has to do with your specific setup/profile data. It could be a result of one or more of any extensions you have installed in the browser at this time, could be that you need to clear cache/browsing data, or a variety of other factors.
Can you please tell me the specific OS/Brave version you’re using when you see these performance issues?
LinuxMint newest version of brave on it and I have only one extension proton passwards
Spot-on feedback. Brave is top-tier for privacy, but lighter memory management would make it absolute perfection. +1 for performance optimizations!
I use Debian now brave works a lot better on it
