Push Web notifications can't be enabled on Perplexity web app

I can’t enable push web notifications on Perplexity.ai using Brave Origin browser on Linux.
Standard Brave browser on Linux is able to enable push web notifications on Perplexity.ai

  1. Go to Perplexity AI’s webpage.
  2. Click on the Site Information button, then click Site Settings.

3. Scroll down till you see notifications and allow it:

  1. Reload the page to apply your settings:

This process doesn’t seem to resolve the issue for Brave Origin.
Notifications remain disabled.

No issue with the standard Brave browser.

Okay, I’m sorry, this worked for me perfectly fine. Can you see if notifications are blocked in a new Brave Origin profile? If you need to know how, let me know.

It depends on what Linux distro you have, but many have the option to manage notifications. Can you see if Brave Origin is enabled/disabled in system settings?

Tell my your distro, and I can direct you to the settings if you need it.
