when you enter YouTube and have a membership to a YouTube channel, Brave does not allow exclusive videos to be played for members of the channel, before it allowed it but with some update this error began to occur which notifies on the video screen with the message “at this moment we have problems with the servers”. It would be good if you repaired this problem.
So, around in late 2025, YouTube started requiring or was going to start requiring Widevine DRM to prevent AI scrapping. I’m guessing even though they already required it for Movies, it’s possible it’s also now being applied to Membership videos as well.
Try heading to: brave://settings/extensions
And enable Widevine. Then try again.
