Private Window Search defaults to DDG even when another Search Engine is set as Default

  1. Search in address bar in Private Window.
  2. Go to Manage Search Engines.
  3. Confirm Default Search Engine is NOT DDG then search again in Private Window.
  4. Unexpected result: DDG is the Default Search Engine.

Is the Search with DuckDuckGo option enabled? If it’s enabled, the default search engine won’t change in settings but your searches will go through DuckDuckGo.
