# Private browser

## I wiped out my cookies, now when i go into private browsing and go to google it shows up in a different language but not on normal browsing.

Hi @drummer17, Welcome to Community!  
Can you go to `brave://settings/languages` and confirm what language is listed?  
Also, when you open a private window. Can you confirm if its a normal `private window` or a `private window with tor`?
